You have to check out the EPG for any of the HBO channels airing a movie entitled "Raging Bulls" with the following description: "sexy black and white studs stroke and devour each other's engorged beef hammers then pounded deep into snug bottoms until they're fully drained." (currently showing on the EPG at HBO 2 East now between 7:55 and 10:05 p.m.)
Do you think the morons at Rovi got the Robert De Niro boxing movie Raging Bull confused with the gay porno movie Raging Bulls?
Are you listening Charlie, The Listener? This is what Rovi is selling you and this is what Rovi is giving us: an EPG not only with incorrect information but a program description inappropriate to those young enough to access HBO on the EPG. Is this not a slam dunk "I'm going to Disneyland" example of what a stupid mistake it was to change to Rovi. Maybe Gracenote wanted more money; I get it but was the alternative really better. Charlie could have agreed then turned around and sued Gracenote for changing the terms of the middle of a contract. This is just awful stupid incompetency morons at Rovi and slightly lesser people at dish who made the decision (we all know only one man at Dish could approve such a major switch) to another way from Gracenote. I think the idea is if you're changing providers for metadata make it an improvement not a diminished experience to your prized Hopper and Hopper 3 and Dish products..
