Hi all,
I would like to have a new system which can pickup channels from 61.5,110, and119 but I don't know what hardware I have to buy (dish, LNBs, receivers, switchs..).
I also want to have to room set up (family room and master bedroom).

As of now I have dish pro but don't know what LNBs they ar using as well as switch. Will I be able to use their hardware, if so what else I have to buy or upgrade.
Thanks for all your help.
:)

From what you're describing, it sounds like you're looking for a 2-room, 3 satellite install. With that said, your best bet is to simply get:

(2) dish 500's...one for the 110/119, and the other for the 61.5
(1) DP+ Twin...for the 110/119
(1) DP Dual...for the 61.5
...and...
322 receiver. Dual tuner will work both rooms from one location

When installing the DP Dual and DP+ Twin, you'll only need a jumper coax to feed the 61.5 to the 110/119. And after that, simply run your receiver feed from one of the outputs on the DP+ Twin.

2-Do I have to buy switch(s) or DisEqC?

Are you an existing customers or would like to subscribe to Dish Network?

If you are an existing customers, what kind of equipment do you have now?

If you would like to subscribe, E* will install the system for you.

If your already a customer of dish you wont be able to get a 322 on an upgrade promo or a direct purchase as they arent officialy sold. Best bet is to go with the above mentioned dish and lnbf setup and go for two 625's if your a new customer, this will take care of 4 rooms respectfully and will provide you with dvr functionality in all 4 rooms. If you have an hd set then a 625 and a 942 would be the way to go, if you want more than 4 rooms then replace the dpptwin with a dptwin and get a dpp44 switch and you will be able to run up to 8 tv's with 4 dual tuners if you so need it.

It is better to get setup with all the rooms you want right off the bat so you can avoid the upgrade cost down the road.

You can purchase a 322, 522, or 625 and activate it. The 522 and 625 are virtually the same receiver except the 625 has Video On Demand and the 522 does not. You just cannot get it on a promotion unless your signing up for the DHA promotion.

DISH Network told me that I could add the 322 at any time for $99 + $5 a month. I am moving, so I took them up on the offer. I also got the SuperDish instead of the Dish500 so I could get locals.

Had to fight with 4 csr's and 2 managers to get a purchased 322 activated on an account recently, all said the same thing that dish doesnt sell 322's nor should any of its sales partners so if it has changed wich may be the case you will want to get the operator ID of any csr that tells you that you can buy a 322 or any receiver for that matter.

4 csr's and 2 managers.. that seems a little outrageous are you sure it took that many? Did you skip the csr supervisors and go straigt to the managers or how did that happen? Were you in tech support or which department?

Van, you should know by now not to listen to anyone in your chain of command. ;)

They're just flat wrong that we (retailers) can't sell (NOT lease) and activate 322s.

Been there, done that, will do it again, and have NEVER had a problem.

taking away a dish, can I do this
