I think its great that Santo gets in, his career was cut short, but he is one of the funnest and nicest people in all of sports. Cubs radio just isnt the same without him.

Glad to hear this. The first baseball mitt I ever owned was a glove that had a Ron Santo autograph on it.

It's always bittersweet when a player gets voted into the Hall posthumously.

I can't believe they voted only 1 player in ....

I've often heard the criticism that the Veteran's Committee is averse to voting anyone in, since the larger the enrollment, the less special their own enshrinement becomes.
