Is anyone else having trouble with their Roku? My wife was having issue with Netflix so she unplugged the Roku to reset it. Now it is stuck at the dancing Roku logo. The Roku is dancing but not moving beyond that point.
They pushed a new firmware on June 1st. Perhaps it was finally loading on your Roku, and your wife unfortunately pulled the cord at the wrong time during that process. If so, it may be bricked. You might want to create an account on Roku's forums, and find out if there's anything that can be done.
The update was likely downloading and taking up bandwidth that's why the problem with Netflix. After an upgrade it sits at the logo for quite awhile, then resets itself. I may do that twice.
Pulling the batteries out of the remote and putting them back in works too sometimes, for whatever reason. Had a Roku 3 that wouldn't go beyond that screen after a hard reset, unplugging it, etc, and tech support said to do that, it worked.
