Robert Redford has joined Wim Wenders' ambitious 3D documentary project, Cathedrals of Culture and will direct a 26-minute segment of the six-part film series about iconic buildings.
Cathedrals of Culture will be shot in both 3D and 2D. French-German public broadcaster ARTE is the main television backer on the project and plans to broadcast the series simultaneously in 3D and 2D in 2014. Selected theatrical event screenings of Cathedrals of Culture are also planned.
