Ribbon Cable Question

Is ribbon cable stiff and hard.. Or more flexible like regular coaxial cable..

Well, my TV is wheeled from the corner of my room, where it's kept, to the foot of my bed and back nightly.. Now I have an extension cord and RG6 laying across my floor which isn't a problem.. But, will the ribbon cable be a problem..

Well, the ribbon cable i have seen is pretty stiff and bulky. If you dont want to move all of that daily maybe you can leave the reciever in a separate cabinet or on a nearby shelf and only have the one coax from reciever to the tv longer. Or install separate coax connections in the wall, or thru the wall for each TV cart position.
Also i have heard that radio shack and skyvision have video senders which might reduce you down to just the power cord.

Yeah, I was leaning in that direction... I'll have to move my turntable and use that shelf for now.. Then run one of the 25' sections of RG6 cable down to the cellar and back up..

I hadn't thought about one of those senders.. That might be the right answer..
