Tech was here recently and replaced my Living Room H24 receiver. Now both of my H24's (Living Room and Bedroom) had RF Remotes. I was working and wasn't paying much attention to the Tech. He used the remote that came with the new DVR and took the old remote with the receiver. As it turns out, the new remote is an IR remote. Why is this an issue? My Living Room DVR is in an entertainment center and I must now leave the cabinet door open to operate the receiver. I do not need an RF remote in the Bedroom, so I assume I can simply reprogram the Bedroom remote to the Living Room and the Living Room remote to the Bedroom.
Do I just bring the bedroom remote to the living room, select RESET REMOTE and then PROGRAM REMOTE? Then do the same in the bedroom?

On my D-Nerwork I had to change a tab at the end of the remote to change TV's.
