Reverting from DP to Legacy

I thought I read here before that once a receiver is connected to DP LNBs/Switches it no longer will work with Legacy LNBs. I searched around some, but could not find that post. I have a 301 that was connected to my DP34, but now I want to connect it to my old Legacy Twin. When I hook it up, I run a checkswitch the 301 says "Installed Switch: Unknown"

Unplugs the cable from Satellie In then run a check switch.

Unplug the unit plug the satellite in cable back in then run check switch again.

That should do it.

Scott: I always encourage doing an extra Check Switch after powering up and before reconnecting the sat feeds. It may not be necessary, but I've seen cases where it seemed to help, and it certainly can't hurt.
