POST OF THE YEAR !!!!!!!!!!:first::grinbounce::hatsoff:

I suppose I should have said more brands instead of products. I'm guessing we will start seeing the Virtual Joey app available from more TV manufacturers.
Dishworld is available on the Samsung. Wonder if that has enough juice to do the Virtual Joey thing.
i am happy that some more HD will be coming our way real soon.
You don't say.

I can't imagine there are any technical reason for a manufacturer using the app. I'm assuming it has more to do with an agreement to carry the app.

My guesses:

Disney Jr. April 2nd uplink
Disney East April 2nd uplink
ABC Family April 2nd uplink
ESPNnews April 2nd uplink
ESPNU April 2nd uplink
Fusion Late April/Early May
Longhorn Network July
SEC Network August

What about Disney West? We used to have Disney West in HD back before they pulled all those HD feeds. I don't understand why they wouldn't provide it as well but whatever so long as I see ESPNU in HD!!

Also need WatchESPN app access SOON and would like to see the app loaded on the hopper. Then all ya gotta do is figure out how to link the hopper to a net connection that doesn't appear at home location to watch those games that are blacked out in your region!

Redundancy, and perhaps lack of b/width are 2 reasons that come to mind.Don't forget that Dish also agreed to streaming rights. That alone makes the importance of Disw in HD much less.

I don't recall DisneyW ever being in HD; DisneyXD, however, was.

With our luck, EchoStar will make their own iphone and it will be as bugy as the 922. Who would go for a phone package from Dish. NoOne!

Very doubtful. Even if they did create one that worked well, they would do some kind of software update that would frack it in short order.
