GEOSATpro Request: Monday--Friday recording choice.

We have ONCE, DAILY, WEEKLY and MONTHLY as recording choices. Daily includes Saturday and Sunday, yet most "daily" series only broadcast Monday through Friday, and are off Saturday and Sunday.

Can we get a Monday-Friday recording choice added to the list, as I really need it, and I'm sure others can use it also.

Had planned to have already provided M - F, but the ALI event timers routines are not very flexible. May offer in a future release with developmental support from ALI.

I really hope it's possible, because setting up some timers Daily, doesn't allow you to do some weekend ones as Weekly, because of a conflict. Yet, the daily timer isn't even needed on the weekend... I hate having to play around with them on Friday to allow my weekend ones to fire.

The option to have a check box for each day of the week and then also a box for repeat each week would be more flexable. I'm thinking of the programs that are only on Tuesday - Friday, or on 2 or 3 days a week. One screen would cover single recordings, recording 2 days a week, recordings on weekends as well as recordings each week.

i.e.

Mon ()____Tues ()____WED ()____Thurs (*)____Fri (*)____Sat ()____Sun ()____Weekly (*)


The above would indicate Thurday and Friday repeating each week.
