Just placed my receiver in an audio cabinet where the IR sensor is blocked by the wood frame of the door and by the glass.

I know there is a way, somehow, to make the #1 remote act like a #2 remote by switching it from IR to RF, but I don't know how.

Can someone please provide me instructions on how to perform this operation?

Please keep in mind that I have a 322 with a TV2. I currently have the remote addresses on TV2 different, because I have 2 322 units so that the #2 remotes don't conflict with each other.

I appreciate in advance your instruction and expertise.

Thanks again,

Robert

take the battery cover off of the remote, try to remove the little colored tab (right not it is green and says #1)... if you can remove it, flip it over and you should be good to go. If I had to guess though, you won't be able to remove it. If that is the case, you need a different remote. The #1 remote that came with the 322 was not capable of UHF.

Didn't work...more help please

I do have the 4.0 IR / RF UHF Pro remote.

I did try and flip the tab around to show side 2 up, but it didn't work.

Anyone else with a solution to this problem / request?

Thanks again.

Robert
