I know why people like DirecTv; most of the ballgames are not repeats. Everything is a repeat on every station with Dish. Two and a half men is all the way back to 2005. The NFL channel did show the replays of all the preseason games and that kept us busy. Oh well us old folks always have our doctor appointments and trips to the drugstore to keep us busy.

you do realize that Dish has nothing to do with the shows that are broadcast on each channel, they only beem the channel into your home. If you have a problem with the shows that are on a channel, then complain to the station airing the programming...
And by the way, if both Dish and Direct are carrying the same channel, they are also broadcasting the same content...

:what :what:what
ummm, dish network doesn't program what shows or games are on certain channels. two and a half men is in syndication and is shown on many channels and all of those are reruns. the new season of it hasn't even started. as for the nfl channel, those are repeats as well.

not sure how you can blame dish for this?
:confused::confused::confused:

Brainless is the only word that comes to mind. Sorry but gimmie a break.:rolleyes:

USA network has had quite a few good first run shows on over the summer. I wonder how come NBC hasn't snapped them up and used them! Burn Notice, Royal Pains, In Plain Sight and Psych are all pretty fun first run shows.

I realize everything said by everyone. I just needed to vent somewhere and I knew my comments would draw a bunch of smart answers from a bunch of smart people. Have a great day, you've got a great day for it. I really wasn't complaining about Dish; just about all the repeats on every station.

NBC tried to run Monk and Psych during the strike. They ran them on Sunday night, only got a few million viewers and canned the idea right away.

On broadcast tv, if they don't get 12 million viewers they cancel the show. Nothing on USA or the other cable channels will draw 12 million viewers.

No, just someone that should have not put a post about how he feels about so many repeats. I didn't realize that I would be bent over for my post. I apologize for posting it. Again; have a great day, you've got a great day for it.
