Remote Question

If I have an HR20 and an HR21 in the same room, is there anyway to tune the remotes to a specific receiver?

I don't want both receivers to react to a command I send to just one of them.

Yes, there is one alternate IR address, its 00003. So start by programming code 00003 to the av1 or av2 device on the remote. slide back to the directv device and enter the menu of the receiver:

1. menu> settings> setup> remote> receiver mode>

2. you will see either Directv or AV/AV2, click whichever to reveal both

3. click AV1/AV2 the remote will quit controlling the receiver, slide to av1 or av2 whichever has code 00003

4. press Done and exit the menu
