Remote frequency

Thanks for your help in advance.
I have two questions you all might be able to help with.

1. I am using a computer as a DVR with one of my receivers. The machine is running "Media Center 2005". The remote frequency for the new receiver isn't in the selections of frequencies for that receiver. Does anyone know what the frequency for the remote is?

2. Can I network the other "HDDVR" receiver and transfer the recorded shows to my computer. What software will I need?

If it is an option / similiar - I use S1377 or S1378 for my slingbox.

Set your directv box to DirecTV or AV1 for remote input, turn off RF mode.
