Remote Flying Through Channels

My HR10 is acting very strange. When I move away from live TV using the remote, the guide flys up and downm making the "bomp noise".

When I go into Now Playing LIst, it does the same thing....flies up and down the selections I have recorded. It will only stop at the top or bottom. And then it "bomps" about ten times. It does it while try to change channels on the remote. UP and down...up and down.

I've rebooted twice.

It works just fine at the unit itself, and I have tried two different remotes. Same thing.

Anyone else got this or know what this is??

check the room for other remotes, stuck in cushion or under a book? Sounds like IR interference from other IR sources.

I was going to blame the remote, until you said you have tried two differnt ones.
I have never seen this, with Directv. I seen it before with E*, but a receiver reset fixed it. Good Luck.

Usually when remotes misbehave among my friends, it's somebody playing jokes with a hidden remote.
