Remote Control Color Button Menu Shortcut List

Finally, we have a list. Attached is a list for the Hopper / Joey remote control color button menu shortcuts. This list was made with inputs from 3HaloODST and me trying out all the color button shortcuts to see what menus open. Did not list any options in a menu that have color next to them. If anyone see a mistake or know of any additional color button shortcuts, if you would please post them here in this thread or PM me, I will update the list and post it again. Also, after Hopper software updates I will go thru the list and check to see if any color button shortcuts have changed or been added and update the list as required.

Welcome, I have been wanting a list too. Maybe Dish doesn't have one or don't want us to have it. I am sure the DIRT members would have shared a list with us if there is one or if it was allowed.

Welcome Bobby. My goal was to keep it one page and portrait if possible. Don't have much more room to work with. Will see how many shortcuts to add that I have missed.

Why not make it a public Google doc? That way others, if they choose, can update it as well. I'm positive that it keeps track of changes as well so if someone messes it up, you can undo their changes.

Attached is two more color button shortcut lists that do not have the menu tile button numbers listed. These two lists are in two different formats and are a little easier to read without all the menu tile button numbers listed. Does anyone know of more color button shortcuts that need to be added to the list?

Attached is the latest remote control color button menu shortcut list in three different formats dated 6 June 2013. There are a few changes from the Hopper with Sling software version S311 that updated this morning. I have been thru all the buttons and here I hope are all the changes:

Network Setup Status menu is now located in the Broadband menu, Network Details tab (Yellow - Blue - 1 - Network Details tab).

Blue - Blue for Bridging has been eliminated. You can now find Bridging in the Network Setup Status menu, Network Details tab, then Bridging tab (Yellow - Blue - 1 - Network Details tab - Bridging tab).

Mode Reminder (formerly Yellow - 9 - 5) has been removed from the Diagnostics menu and placed in the Remote Manager menu (Yellow - 6 - SAT Mode tab).

I presume that the color buttons work the same for the original Hopper / Joey. Does anyone know for sure? If anyone see a mistake or find any more changes, if you would please post them here or send me a PM and I will update the list and post again.

Thanks navychop. I like #1 and 3 the best too. What do you think of #2 format? I might eliminate that one next time.

I think #3 presents the info better. But I recognize that others may view it the other way around.

I also note that the yellow on #1 seems brighter on screen than in #3, but they seem to print about the same. I wonder if the perceived difference is due to differing row height?

I like using the Header feature for the title and date. I was going to suggest you add the date, then saw what you did in Print Preview. Nice, simple but I think rarely used feature. Certainly more often than Pivot Tables/Charts, which I note so many potential employers are concerned about. So simple to do, perhaps I'm missing something, or perhaps they're getting people unwilling to learn more Excel features. Lord knows, somebody at MicroSoft stays up nights trying to come up with new Office features to pack in.
