Remote Codes

I currently subscribe to DIRECTV and have the Directv Plus HD DVR.

I just bought an Onkyo TX SR706 and have the DVR hooked up to the receiver. But I would like to change TV channels using the Onkyo remote control.

None of the 5 digit codes listed in the Onkyo booklet will work to control the DVR channels. Can anyone help me with this.

I meant to add that the DVR is the Model HR21-100.
