I did a little searching, but couldn't find an answer. Will the Hoppers/Joeys ever be updated to utilize the 32 different IR remote addresses like the older receivers??? I was going to upgrade, but I was told they are all on "1" when you enable IR. My installation would require all the Hoppers/Joeys in my equipment closet where the audio amplifiers are and feed by IR and I use macros so the Dish UHF remote isn't ideal. Seems like it would be easy to implement.

I doubt this will happen. The move is to wireless - Zigbee, IIRC.

But I still use my Harmony remotes with my Hoppers. They work fine. But obviously, with all the equipment in the same place, that would not be a solution.

Multiple Dish remotes too cumbersome?

Yep, too cumbersome. I used to my old OFA 10820 and it's macros. It's flawless now. Maybe they'll have a IR to Zigbee adapter that would do this for us losers who don't like change.

signal loss, triplexer vs diplexer and seperator

HDMI port failing ?
