reliable wireless digital a/v signal

I have been asked to install a tv in a bathroom, is there a reliable way to
wirelessly transmit from another location and access via a remote control.

Having to instal a cable box in the bathroom is a last resort tactic.
I would rather instal one in an alternate location.

I really require a reliable system that will change channels and receive a clear signal.
