Regulations on hd??

You would think there should be some type of regulation on what type equipment should be used on network tv to show hd. I have heard alot of people say that the hd cameras of NBC are not as good as maybe CBS. I know that the equipment is only part of the problem. As a consumer, I hate getting cheated out of what should be a very good product.

There is no regulation. The only regulation is that the local channels must broadcast in one of the digital formats specified on their digital station allocation. They can take 480i and run with it if they want.
