Does the 211 have a coax output? I really hope so. I just did the upgrade and was planning to use the coax ouput of the 211 to distribute SD signal to two nearby TVs.

Now I'm curious if it even has one as I just noticed that my existing 811 doesn't even have a coax output.

No, there is only one optical output, one HDMI output, one component output, one S-Video and one composite video and stereo analog audio outputs.

You mean Digital Coax Audio output or RF output? If it's RF output, yes the 211 has RF output. It's called TV Set Out.

Yes, RF output is what I was meaning...thanks.

2nd question: Can I backfeed the signal from this RF output on the same RG6 coax line that is used as the incoming source for the receiver? I know that this can be done with a 622 and the TV2 agile mod. output, but haven't heard anyone mention doing it with the RF output on a 211. Can I use a diplexer and have 2 coax lines going from it to the receiver (satellite in and RF out) and one line going from the diplexer back to the dish? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what you're asking or have in mind. Are you planning on having 2 televisions being fed from the 211...one with channel 3/4 signal and the other with component/HDMI? If that's the case, then yes it will work.

yes. I want to feed 2 TVs with the 211. I know that they will have the same channel but that is fine. I want to have 1 TV connected via component and then use the RF output to feed a TV in another part of the house, but I want to backfeed it with a diplexer through the existing single coax line that the incoming signal comes from. Can I do this?

You sure can. You will need two diplexers and that's it.
