He left an obviously tired Pedro in and the Red Sox lost the game and series. He failed to do his job, he suffered the consequences. It was nice for Pedro to take the blame, but he's not the manager. Its the managers job to make these decisions.

During the press conference Theo Epstein stated that that is what Little wanted.
 
Poor decision on management. Here's a guy who is underpaid and have the team win 95 games, takes them to the ALCS despite having no bullpen in the beginning of the season, having a pitcher like pedro who can not pitch more than 5 inings, having a big mouth like manny in the clubhouse. I though that he did a good job with Boston but Little became the sacficial Lamb for all the turmour that the Red Sox had.
