Recording to DVD

Sorry if this has been asked before. I have a HR-100 and a JVC DVD player/recorder and a Toshiba DLP. How do I hook up the DVD player to the receiver so I can record what I have in my play list. Please keep in mind I can't find the remote or manual for the DVD player and I am usually a hit and miss at hooking things up lol. Very electronics challanged any simple input that is easy to understand or any easier way to do it would be appreciated thank you

You should be able to use the S-Video out and audio or component and audio out of the HR20. Play the program and hit record on the DVD player. Make sure the DVD player has its input matching the HR20 output. That should be about it. Good luck.
