Recording the wrong programs

I'm in southeast Alaska. Many of my series recordings on locals, PBS, etc, have given me the wrong shows, a lot of them lately. Especially in the past few weeks. The correct time is being displayed. Tonight it was Vegas. Seems like at least one incorrect program every night. Any ideas?

have you tried a red button reboot?
What channel does it record instead of what it should? (like does it record CBS when it should be Fox)?

Yes, I've rebooted. I'm pretty sure that it records the correct channel, just the wrong program. The clock is showing the correct time. I could understand DirecTV getting the a bad schedule from a network, but this is happening too often with different networks to be just mess-ups from the networks. I must have had, in the past couple weeks, about 5 incorrect recordings from PBS, about that many from Ovation channel, some from CBS, etc.
