If a reciever goes bad, don't you think Directv should replace it with one where ALL the features work?
I have a Samsung TS360 but it only passes captions on the satellite output mode. I think if you have captions on the source of your input, they should work no matter what input, when the picture is sent thru the input you have chosen. I can't get the benefits of switching between inputs on this reciever because of the caption problem. I am no dummy either, I have been fooling with satellite equipment since 1983.
