receiver to receiver update

Can my old Fortec Star Ultra Lifetime receivers update each other through a serial cable?

I have scanned all the satellites on c and ku on one of them (yes it took a long time) and I was wondering if I can transfer the channel list and tp data to the other one since I have multiple dishes.

Is it possible?

I don't know for a Fortec, but I would think it should. I know the Coolsat 5000 does, as I've done it several times. Hopefully someone will know for sure. Good Luck!
