Receiver or TV HDMI Issue??

I'm wondering if theres a problem with my receiver or tv. When I reboot my receiver and it comes up to load the tv shows static channel. If I unplug my HDMI cable and plug it back in, then it goes back to the Directv start up screen.

I have no issues with it while watching tv it's only when I reboot. Noticed it a lot when I Do CE updates.

Try unplugging the HDMI and re plug it in, both ends, see if that helps, maybe it's just not seated just right.

Might also try replacing the HDMI cable if reseating doesn't work. The cable itself probably isn't the issue but is something fairly easy to rule out.
