Among the 2016 models slated for delivery this Spring is the 65-inch XLD65A65RQ 4K/Ultra HD TV ($1,099), which offers full Android TV functionality with voice search, HEVC H.265 and VP9 4K video decoding, HDMI 2.0 with HDCP, upscaling for lower resolution videos, Chromecast functionality, and access to the Google Play Store; 50- and 55-inch screen sizes will also be offered.

The trade publication TWICE clarified RCA’s offerings in a recent report, noting that four 4K Android TVs ranging in price from $699 for a 50-inch model to $1,699 for a 70-inch model are on the way but said models with high dynamic range (HDR) capability are not planned for introduction until the second half of the year.
