RC70 remote slow motion?

I've got an RC70 remote with HR44. Very happy with the DVR and Genie, but does anyone know how to invoke slow-motion playback? With the old remote, DirecTV finally had gotten that right -- press and hold pause. That doesn't work with the new one.

Are you sure it's an rc70 and not rc71? That may cause a difference.

To the op, I am not sure, as I have not tried it, but I do have the remote at home and will see what I can figure out when I get off work this evening.

Yes rc70 is a hotel remote I think. But I know such a creature exists however I don't believe it's used residentially

Pressing and holding pause does work. It goes to pause, to play briefly, then to slow motion. But you have to hold it and not let go.

That worked, thanks! Yes, it's the RC71, by the way.
