I have the RC32 remote with my H20 receiver. If I purchase the RC32RF will it work with my H20?
I am getting annoyed with having to point it directly at the receiver everytime.
Thanks
Yes, It will work with the H20. You have to attach a small antenna to the back of the H20 to get it to work. RC32RF remote also has backlit buttons. Great for changing channels in a dark room.

Gee what did we ever do with out remotes.
hmm damn, I just received my RF remote and it didn't come with an antenna?
any ideas on what I can use for an antenna?
Thanks
Take a short (~4-6 in.) length of RG-6 coax with an F connector attached. With a pocketknife cut through the outer conductor and braid. Carefully strip off the aluminum foil shielding.
Possibly a paperclip would even work.
You might be able to talk a Directv CSR into sending you one for free.
I actually managed to find an antenna from one of my old receivers. Things work fine now.
I am assuming the H20 doesn't have built in RF? The manual says some receivers have it built in.
My HR-20 has it ,But guess what remote they sent? RC34 and its IR ONLY. They always try to get us some how.My h-20 though came with RC24 .Thats IR and RF.
Funny... I have my RC34 in my hand right now. I flip it over and I see the FCC ID sticker on the back of the remote. Oh, and I just turned off my HR20 from the computer room on the other end of the house.
