So last night, southern CT, where I live experienced a fairly heavy rain storm. I lost most of my channels from the storm for about an hour. What I noticed, while running the Satellite Tests during the outage and rain, was that most of the satellite signals weren't bad, all between 85-90. However, 103c was giving me 0's across all the transponders. I've got the 5 LNB slimline dish, running the latest CEs on all the boxes I have.
This morning with clear skies, I ran the tests again, and all transponders were 90+, including 103c.
So, my question is, what's the issue? Were the rain clouds that thick that it knocked out just the 103c satellite and not the others? Is there an alignment issue? Could the rain be collecting on the LNB for the 103c satellite?
