Latest R15 100 Release

Hey all,

Janet from Nashville, Tennessee.

I am a new to this satellite stuff, but I like it.

I recently have a black download bar when latest download was attempted by DirecTV overnight a few weeks ago.

I have a R15 100 and need to know how to force the latest SW download?

Could you provide steps for a cutie?

What is a girl to do?

Current version???

I awoke this morning to find my R15-100 receiver in setup mode. I went through the setup, and then let the receiver continue restarting. I immediately went to the software version page and noticed that

Original version was 0x10AA and
Past Upgrade was 0x109D

That looks a little backwards if my hexadecimal conversion is correct.

Does this mean my receiver tried to upgrade, but failed/crashed and reverted back to the old version? I know it was not 0x10AA originally as the display says, so an upgrade happened sometime, not sure when. I tried to force an upgrade manually a few minutes ago and it again downloaded 0x109D. Anyone know what gives or how to get 0x10AA?

It may still not be released to your area yet and you are download the current version for your box. It is a staggered release - they space it out going from west coast to east.

Perhaps someone on the east coast with an R15 can comment if they've received it yet.
