Question for all of the Satworks 3618 Guru's

Hello everyone,

I have a satworks 3618 and I have a question. How do you get this reciever to pass through antenna channels. I noticed it has a coax imput in the back for it but I have yet to figure out a way to actually view the channels (through the reciever). I thought it could simply be a pass thru (so that I could view the channels with the tv tuner), unfortunatly this doesnt work either. So the question I have is, What is that coax port on the back for? (does any of yours work?).

Basically I have just picked up an older tivo unit and I would like to output everything from the satworks reciever to the tivo.

If the unit is off it should still pass through TV channels on the RF out

Ya know its always something simple. I was trying to get it to pass the channels through when it was turned on (thinking it had to be on to pass the channel through). I will test it later tonight (at work now). If it works then I can clear out some of the clutter on my home theater.

if its on, hit the "tv/sat" button which can allow you to see the OTA channels (its like the old tv/vcr button which would make it a passthrough)

Yep, The TV/Sat button did not work (the 3618 has the Sat button but mine would only switch through to the Satellite reciever). I was not able to get it to pass anything through , I unplugged the reciever for a bit, turned it back on and hit standby and then was able to pull the antenna channels down. I dunno if it was just hung up or what but after it was unplugged (and put into standby) it worked great.

My Sat works 3688 shows 0000 on the frond panel there is no respond from the remote
Is there any one out there with the same problem with 3688

I had a problem with My 3688, power light on, nothing else, the rec. was less than a year old. I sent it to DMS, they replaced a board, been working fine ever since, over a year ago. I own 2 of these boxes, I personally like these units.
