Question About Traxis 3500

I'm thinking of getting the Traxis 3500, but I have a question about the blind scan feature. Will I be able to scan a satellite without adding tp information to the receiver? In other words will I be able to scan a satellite when I locate it's signal without the tp information? I'd appreciate any help or responses.

yep. Actually any blind scan receiver will do that. I have only one TP logged for each satellite in my Pansat 1500 and when I'm aimng a dish, I just scan where I am and see what channels pop up
