I just got an off-air antenna and a cable ran down to basement. Now I would like to combine off-air and satellite signals (in basement), up to second floor for my Pansat and local channels.

What type of combiner/splitter do I need?

Thanks.

it doesn't matter but I would get some good ones. I've used some cheapy ones and they blew within the first couple days :(

as noted above, you need one at each end. One at the spot where the sat cable and the antenna come together and one when it splits out at the receiver

Hello Tony, How are you?

Could someone please explain what are the different here?

Diplexer 1 Port Passing 40~2300 MHz ($2.37)
Diplexer 2 Amp Passive 40~2300 MHz ($3.78)
Diplexer Single Port Power Passing ($5.99)
Diplexer Dual Port Power Passing ($6.25)

All from Perfect Vision brand.

Thanks.

The difference between 1 & 2 is the 2nd one you can pass an amplifier through it.

I have some diplexers that are one side power passing and they work fine :)

Attic: Will this even be possible?
