quali-tv qs1080i problem

I just got a qs1080 from ebay and the unit is flashing "init" on the LED with a small little red LED flashing on the bottom

Any ideas ?

It's prob. asking a setup question, especially if it's Brand New.
Have you pressed the TV Format button on the remote?
The orig. Firmware does not fully support NTSC, so best to update the firmware.

Sometimes the power supply board goes bad on the quali's. It is easy to replace. The boards are available from the folks who sell them retail.

First check the format, as lak suggested. It's the V-format button, just under the CH+ button.
