Quali-Tv 1080IR

Just received the above receiver and hooked it up to my television using just regular a/v cables (red and white for audio and yellow for video), but the problem is that the picture is bouncing up and down the screen. The video format options on this receiver are 1080i, 720p, 576p and PAL. I tried 'em all and nothing solved my problem. Any suggestions?

Mine Qualitv also has 480i and 480p-60 on it. Try using the V-Format button on the remote and see if it will bring up 480i or 480p-60?

does it support ntsc ? if it doesnt, your tv will need to support pal. or use hdtv compatible tv and cables (dvi, hdmi, or component, unsure what the ird supports)

What I listed above (1080i, 720p, 576p and PAL) is what this receiver supports. Also, after I connected component cables to my HD television, I got no picture whatsoever.

The green button on the remote is a toggle between pal and ntsc, but it
sounds like You need a software update from Quali-tv, not sure
