PTAT DVR Issues

1. When I watch a show on PTAT and I hit stop on the remote or watch until the end there is no choice for delete like there is on any other recording on the DVR. Just DVR or Live TV. I then have to go back to DVR re select PTAT and delete show with blue button.

2. When I am in PTAT on DVR there is no way to get back one step to the main DVR screen. Cancel, which normally goes back 1 step, completely closes out the DVR menu and goes back to live tv.

Do I have something setup wrong or does PTAT have different operating procedures than everything else on the DVR?

PTAT has an 8 day retention period for recordings. They automatically delete after 8 days. You adjust this as low as 2 days.

Press the Red Button and select My Recordings.

I don't want to delete all of them early. I just want to delete the show I just watched.

Sorry. But rereading your third question I see no mention of the blue button to delete recordings. You did ask if things were different. My response was based on your complaint concerning not being able to delete a recording from the choices presented at the end of the a PTAT program

Actually he does mention it in his original post, see the highlighted sentence. In answer to the OPs question, yes, it is different than everything else. The blue button is the only way to make the recording go away. It will go away on its own after 8 days or whatever you have set up in your PTAT rules....

Well just to correct bobby, the blue button is not the only way, just the fastest and best. The other way, is the classic way of highlighting show, press select, scroll to delete and hit select.
