I have a Hopper but I use DNS and that excludes PTAT, at least for now.
I have a friend that also has a Hopper in his RV but he uses Locals, changing his Service Address as he moves from location to location. He carries an EA and WA dish so he can use the set of satellite appropriate for the Service Address area.
On his first trial of PTAT, it took 24 hours before the PT icons showed up. This is in line of what most have observed in the initial PTAT start up.
The question is will he incur the 24 hours PTAT start up delay each time he moves his location or is the 24 hours delay a function of the first start up? I read that you can turn the PTAT option on at least 1/2 hour before the Prime Time window.
