PS 3 wifi?

So does IEEE 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi* included on the 60 gig version mean i can connect to internet via my wireless router & function sorta like a 2nd computer? That would make the 600 bucks a little easier to spend since we were considering a laptop to pay bills on up in the office. So all the ps3 owners does it connect & function like a laptop computer via the wireless connection or am i reading all this techno stuff incorrectly Thanks Bill

Yes, the WiFi hooks up like a Laptop's WiFi. If you have a WEP key assigned you will have to enter it to log on you computers network. If not you just need to run the settup and the PS3 will fing your WiFi router then assign it a IP address. Once connected you have access to the web and Playstations 3 Store where you can download demo's and HD trailers.
