On c-band I have been having problems with Heroes, Movies and Decades.
Can lock in Me Tv no problem, GEB but not Blue Ocean and mnet( Ised to however)
When I do a blind scan the channels l comes up but no picture, Transponder 3960 (one of 3)/Vertical Pol. SR 2735 , sometimes I see the Quality go from 0 to 70% but doesn't lock in!
I was getting it ok before I messed with the ASC1 etc.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

My guess is that your STB has an ALI or Novatek chipset? These transponders often will not lock or the services have severe docoding issues with these chipsets. The ability to receive these channels will come and go with these STBs. Probably has nothing to do with messing with the controller unless the skew or polarity seting was modified.

No problem locking these three channels today using HiSilicon, Montage, Broadcom based STBs.

STB is X2 square tech premium IV
their website as far as I can tell isn't supported any longer, have not even been able to download and install their oct 15 SW update and they haven't replied to my emails

Not sure but I don't believe my TBS6922SE has those chipsets and it can't lock Decades or Heros.

What are good receivers to watch these with? I have scanned them in a few times but never watched them long enough to experience the issue.

I've noticed a similar thing on 99W (C-Band) I can get the Mux @ 3845/H/8700 Fox-Missouri, METV and Movies comes in very strong, when I scan however in search of the Virgin Isles NBC, This and Cozi from PR @ 3811/H/8030 can not pick up ( I have in the past and it's tricky on my 8 footer). I do pick up a transponder @ 3811/V/15000 SR. but no picture with the name GDMX.
are the Virgin Island and PR channels still up? is the symbal rate 8030 I think lynsat says so.
Thanks!
