problems w/ NEW dish network box

i have had dish network for about one month and so far, so good. today i got a new tv stand so i disconnect the tv and box and put it on the stand, plug everything back in (correctly) and now THE CABLE BOX won't stay on for more than 10-20 seconds and automatically goes off. This is almost brand new, how can it be broken already? Dish network wants to send out another box but this doesn't seem right. I mean, it worked 30 minutes before I moved it. Any ideas??
 
Well, first off you don't have a cable box if you have satellite. You have a set top box. Next, what kind of set top box do you have (model number). It sounds like you didn't hook it back up correctly.

First off, you have Dish Network so you don't have a CABLE BOX!!
Check your connections. You moved it, you probably screwed something up.
