I have three of those Motorola DSR-410 receivers. I used to have four.
I attempted to change the battery out on one of them this past week, and
lost my authorization, hence lost all DMX programming. Broke the little holder out, which was firmly attatched (soldered?) to the battery.

The three remaining receivers placed throughout my house are still enough to supply my music fix. However, based on the age of these boxes, I'm sure that the onboard batteries (button-cell lithium type) could be going dead any day. I'd like to replace them. But I fear it is way beyond my level of expertise. I read all the threads I could find on the subject, but don't feel as though I know enough to tackle this task. And I've already ruined one box; I don't want to ruin another.

Any ideas? Anyone here who could replace the batteries for me? I understand I would have to pay shipping plus labor.

Did you hook up a temp battery before taking out the old one? ATS electronics should be able to do it for you, contact them they are great.
