Directv had a technician out here to perform a new install. After walking on my roof for about half hour, he determined that there is no place to put the dish that can get me enough signal to support HD service because of a tree in my neighbor's front yard.

You would think there'd be ways around something like this by now?

What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Tell your neighbor if he cuts down his tree, he can come over and watch your HDTV whenever he wants! :)

Do you have a yard? Is there someplace a dish-on-a-pole could be located without trees in the way?

Get a second opinion and try for a pole mount if possible. The 119 sat is usually the problem.

Oh and BTW.... :welcome to SatelliteGuys!!!!

what zip code are you in? If its an area that I cover I will give it a second look.
