Problem With GBOX Operation

After not having used the GBOX for a while, today I turned it ON and it is moving the dish the LED numbers show -0009 and they are not advancing when trying to make the dish go either East or West, while pressing the East and West button arrows, E----2 LED with two dashes and a little Red (left or right) arrow above the E----2 reading keeps popping up and after about three seconds and it goes back to showing -0009.

How can the E---2 reading be cleared from the box and how can the LED numbers be made to advance while the dish is moving.

Read the manual, disconnected from the AC plug, resetted the box, resync it, played with every fuctions and nothing can correct the problem.

Any help or comments are greatly appreciated

Did a wire pull out of the back? That error means it isn't getting a signal back from the reed switch. If I move my V-Box X by sliding it over from where it sits or something, the stiff wires tend to pull out of the junky spring clips and disconnect themselves.

If not, one of your wires broke somewhere.

The wires at the box are making good contact, checked for broken wire(s) and they are OK. It is raining at the moment, will check at the dish area as soon as possible for broken wire(s) and other possible problems.

Yep same here, when I get that error it usually is one of the wire has pulled out the back of the unit.

Problem with the GBOX is solved, with all the rain that we had in the past, water got inside the electronic box and the wires got shorted out making the GBOX not working properly.

Drained the water, cleaned the wire contacts, squited some electronic cleaning fluid to the contacts points, everything is working fine as of right now.
