Primestar LNBF

Has anybody used a P*star LNBF on a 6ft BUD? I have the LNBF that has the single F fitting input. I made a mount so I could mount it to the BUD feed support. As of now I am only able to get a couple of channels on G10 KU. Do you think that the polarity is not set correct?
Is the LNBF only made to be used with a offset dish?
