Hello Everyone,

Simple economic lesson. If consumers (aggregate) income does not go up significantly and real inflation continues to eat away discretionary spending there will come a time when entertainment such as DirecTV will become unaffordable for many people. People will continue to search for less expensive and creative solutions for their entertainment dollars. :rant:

I am on a 2-year term with the Entertainment package Genie DVR and 1 client. I am on their current special with savings locked in for the second year but I know the price will still go up -- hoping its not extremely high. I don't think it could be any worse than those money suckers at Xfinity.
