Not sure if this was reported before. I was in Walmart on Sunday and all the HD-DVDs and BluRays were $19.96 except for one - the BluRay Basic Insticts was $24.96. Thought this was a good price point for the HD movies. Beats any prices I have seen anywhere else.

Walmart has had those prices since day 1.

Not true. I bought U571 at $25 at first. Since August 1, they dropped the prices. The combo discs are still $29, tho (ie: Rumor Has It HD DVD).

Some are still 25 dollars, like U 571 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4926037 those same disks are 30 dollars at best buy. Generally Walmart is at least 5 dollars cheaper than best buy and it has been that way since day 1. But some titles are more according to their website, although Ive never known that to be the case in the store here.

Still nothing in Reno Walmarts

Still no players or stock in Reno Walmart (SUPERSTORES TOO). Also reno Blockbusters stores have never heard of either format...not especially good for the hobby!

Told one gal at blockbuster the HD-DVD and Bluray price...her reaction (as I expected ..."I will wait until they are below $200...if I even get one!")

Best Buy still has both in stock...Not Moving either...Is it just Reno, NV????
