I have recently bought a couple of Sportster 2 replays new sealed kits, no blue dot on the back. I believe they may be the older ones with the stronger transmitter, but how can I tell for sure without opening them and powering them on. Also will they still activate with the newer system. I have a couple already that have been activated for a long time, but I wanted to replace them with these new ones because of the older cars I drive, I need the strong signal because I don't want to use the cassette and have no direct line option. If they are not the good ones I want to be able to sell them on ebay as new, never opened kits.
