Wondering if anyone would like to share their Pre amp success/failure stories. Were you able/ not able to bring in that weak channel? What make/model amp were you using? Thanks

Two channels were coming in, signal level in the 60's, but would fade out during rain or snow. CM7777 installed and in clear weather are now in the upper 80's, lower 90's. Signal drops into the mid/upper 70's during rain and snow.
One is 356Kw, the other 382Kw, at around 65 miles. Both uhf. Flat terrain.
Your results may vary. Oh, antenna used is a channel master 4220. Maybe should have used a 4221 and the preamp may have not been needed(??)
